Boy Logo copy

Is the idea of Dawn Carvey, who assisted (until recently) by Julia Soukup nee Hutchinson, to provide an asthetically pleasing environment in which to teach young children basic cooking skills and food information. Since the demise of cooking in schools, this essential life skill is being badly neglected by the school curicullum.

Workshop Titles include-

  • Healthy Pizza Making
  • Fruit Smoothies
  • Teddy Bear’s Picnic
  • Bread Making
  • Sweet & Savoury Rainbow Kebabs

Food For Thought!
According to a recent survey by supermarket chain Morrisons, 3 in 4 children do not know how to boil an egg. And almost half of Britain's youngsters never or rarely help make dinner, while more than a third prefer watching TV to helping in the kitchen.
