2007 saw the achievement of four Great Taste Awards. Gold 2 Stars for Wensleydale Fruit Cake with Black Dub Oat Stout and Gluten-Free Baton Rouge. Gold 1 Star Awards for Porter Ale Fruit Cake and Riggwelter Rich Fruit Cake. Porter Ale Fruit Cake went on to be the runner-up in the Yorkshire Post Taste Awards sponsored by Harvey Nichols.
In 2004 two Bronze Awards for Traditional Style Simnel Cake and also Apricot & Ginger Fruit Cake, which also was the runner-up in the Waitrose Small Producer Award.
In January 2003 Dawn won The Pure/BBC Good Food Magazine Competition for her Apple & Mincemeat Cake resulting in a photoshoot in London and a weekend specialising in Italian Cusine at Aldburgh Cookery School.
